Jabra BT800 pair of Blackberry Curve
User-submitted articles How to pair a Jabra BT800 headset headset with a BlackBerry Curve cell phone
Requirements:
● Jabra BT500
● Blackberry Curve
►step 1 Picture Is Bad But Point Is Good If Your Phone Isn't In Pairing Mode It Needs To Be. The jabra Earpiece Looks Bulky But I Gaurantee It's The Only One I'll Use. It Is Absolutely Quiet. Calrity On Both Ends Is Unbelieveable. The Way Mine Is Set Up, I Only Put It On When I Need It And I Turn It On In The Middle Of A Call And Not Lose Them. On The Bottom Of The Earpiece There Is A Hole.
►step 2 Using A Paperclip, Lightly Press Into The Hole Till You Feel A Click. The Display Will Change To Say Pairing Mode. Go To Your Phone And You Will See A Display Asking Permission To Pair. The Password Is 0000. Once It Is In, Go To The Selection Of jabra Bt800 And Press On The Trackball. Go To Device Properties And Press Trackball. Go Down To Trusted And Press Trackball. Roll trackball To Yes.
►step 3 Noow Here Is Where The World Gets Great. I Don't Wear My ear Piece Until I Need To Because I Don't Want To Look Like A Trekky :-). Also, This Earpiece Doesn't blink While It's In Use Either. My phone Rings And I Find I Either Need To Get handsfree Or Will Be On The Phone Long Enough That I Need To Go handsfree So As Not To cramp My Shoulder. During The Call I Will Tell The Person To Hold On While I Put Them Handsfree. I Then Put The Phone In My Pocket, Pull My Earpiece Out Of It's Holster, Put It In My Ear And Push And Hold On The Button Closest To My Ear.
►step 4 I Then Hear A Series Of Beeps Going Up In pitch And I Count To 3. The Person At The Other End Has Gone Through One Of The Quietest Transitions To An Earpiece That They Have Ever Not Heard. When I Am Finished, I Simply Push On That Same Button Till I Hear The 3 Beeps Down In Pitch. I Then Put It Back In It's Pouch And Go On With My Day. This Device Is Great. Enjoy.
