Reset your Blackberry Pearl deletes all data and applications from your mobile phone. This process is called quenching handheld and it turns your phone number to the factory settings. The process of resetting a Blackberry is used by the software the phone, definitely not the phone model. It is recommended that you create a backup copy of the BlackBerry's data before a reset.



►step 1 Power On Your blackberry Pearl 8220. Create A Backup (see "resources") If Desired.

►step 2 Click "options" From Your Blackberry's Home Screen. Select "security Options" And Choose "general Settings."

►step 3 Select "wipe Handheld" From The Options, Then Click "continue." Type "blackberry" And Press "enter."
