Receive images on a Blackberry Curve
Receive images on the BlackBerry Curve is simple, via email or multimedia message (MMS).
Requirements:
● BlackBerry Curve
● MMS capability (set up through your mobile carrier)
● Wireless data access (also set up through your mobile carrier)
Receiving Via Mms
►step 1 mms Messages Allow Media To Be Inserted; Smss Are Text-only. mms Messages Display On Your Curve In The Same List As The Sms Messages. When You Notice Someone Has Sent You A mms Message, Open The Message Like You Would Any Other. Hit The Blackberry Button.
►step 2 Use Your trackball To Scroll And Select The "messages" Icon.
►step 3 Select The Unread mms Message. The Picture Will Load Automatically When Opened. If You Want To Save The Image To Your Phone, Hit The Blackberry Button While Viewing The Picture, Then Select "save Image." Receiving Via Email
►step 1 If You Haven't Already, You Need To Set Up Your Curve To Receive Email. Hit The Blackberry Button And Select "setup Wizard." Continue Hitting The "next" Icon Until You Get To The Email Set Up Screen. Next, Select The Option To "create Or Add An Email Address," Then Hit "next." Select "create New Account" And Enter Your Email Information.
►step 2 Receiving Emailed Pictures Over The Curve Is Very Similar To Receiving Them Via Mms. They Can Be Right In The Email Inbox, Which In That Case All You Would Need To Do Is Go To "messages," (emails Are Stored In The "messages" Folder, But If You Go To The menu Screen You Will Also See A Separate Email Folder For The email Account You Created.) Open The Email, And The Attached Photo Will Display On Your Screen. If It Is An Attached Image, Again Go To "message," Open The Email And Use The trackball To Select And Download The Attachment. The Attachment Will Show At The Top Of The Email And Will Read "attachment 1." The Attached Picture Will Open Automatically After It Has Been Downloaded.
►step 3 To Save The Image From Email, Follow Step 3 In Section 1.
