►step 1 Sign Up Or Sign In At Www.blackberryforums.com.

►step 2 Once You've Signed In, Navigate Your Way To The Specific Section For Your Device. I Have A Curve 8330m, So I Clicked On The "general 8300 Series Discussion" Section.

►step 3 At The Top Of The List Of Posts, The List All Of The Newest software Versions For The Specific Phone Models. Find The One That Matches Your Phone And Click Into It.

►step 4 There Should Be A Download Link In That Post That Directs You To Download The New Os. Don't worry If The Provider In The Link Is Not The Same As Your Provider. The Os Is Not Provider Specific.

►step 5 After Downloading The File To Your Computer, Double-click On It To Start The Installation Process. This Is Not Installing It On Your Blackberry Yet, Only The Computer. When The Installation Completes, Navigate Your Way To The C:\program Files\common Files\research In Motion\apploader And Delete The File Named Vendor.xml.

►step 6 When You've Finished Deleting The Vendor.xml File, Simply Plug Your Phone Into The Computer Using Your usb Cable And Double-click On Loader.exe To Start The Update Process, Which Can Take Up To 45 Min.
