Delete images on a pre-installed BlackBerry Curve

The blackberry Curve Is An Ideal smartphone To Have If You Want To Store Pictures, Video, Music Or Other Media. But If There's A Lot Of Content You Would Like To Add, Then The Memory Can Run A Little Low. You Can Free Up Space On Your blackberry Curve By Getting Rid Of The Preloaded wallpapers (pictures) That Came Factory-installed. It Isn't As Easy As Clicking "erase" From The "settings" Menu, But After A few Minutes On Your Computer You Should Be Able To Delete Them For Good.

Requirements:
● BlackBerry Curve
● Computer

step 1 Connect Your blackberry Curve To Your Pc Via The usb Port And Access The Blackberry Desktop Manager. If You Don't Have Desktop Manager Set Up On Your Pc Then Insert The Install Disk That Came With Your Curve And Follow The Prompts On The "install Wizard" screed For A Quick Installation.

step 2 Choose The "backup And Restore" Icon On The Main Menu Of The Desktop Manager To Backup The Contents Of Your Curve In Case Anything Goes Wrong.

step 3 Open The "program Files" Menu On Your Desktop's hard Drive And, From The Address Bar, Go To "program Files/common Files/research In Motion/shared/loader Files/8100-v4.2.0.69_p2.2.0.40." This Is A java Folder That, Aside From ringtones And Video, Contains The Wallpaper Files.

step 4 Find These Two Files Out Of The Entire List And Highlight And Delete Them: Net_rim_bb_media_240x260_b.codnet_rim_bb_media_100_240x260.cod

step 5 Check The "pictures" Folder On The Blackberry Curve. The Preloaded Photos Should No Longer Be In The Folder. The Photos Will Still Be Available In The Desktop Manager From When You Backed Up The Device.
