Three different flash functions --- A, off, automatic --- it is for Blackberry Curve cameras. Changing the current requires very little maintenance and should last less than 60 seconds to perform. The following procedure applies to other styles of Blackberry phones.

►step 1 Open The camera Application From The Blackberry Home Screen (be Sure You Are Opening The Camera, Not The Video Camera). The Screen Should Be Displaying Itself As A Lens.

►step 2 Push The "menu" Button On The Keypad To Open A List Of Camera Commands. Locate, Highlight And Select "options". The Screen Should Display A New Screen Titled "camera Options."

►step 3 Find The "default Flash Setting" Option Toward The Top Of The Left-hand Column And Highlight The Current Flash Setting (on, Off Or Automatic) In The Corresponding Right-hand Column. Press Down On The trackball So All Three flash Options Appear On A Drop-down Menu. Select Your Preferred camera Flash Mode.

►step 4 Exit The camera Options Screen By Pushing The "back" Button On The Keypad (to The Immediate Right Of The Trackball). Be Sure To Select "save" When Prompted With A Window Titled "changes Made!" Your Blackberry Camera Should Now Be Set To Take Pictures In The Chosen Flash Mode.
