To Upgrade The Software On A Suncom blackberry 8310 To The Tp 4.5 Software, Navigate To The T-mobile Website. The Suncom Website Was Decommissioned Shortly After T-mobile Purchased The Company. The Process To Upgrade The Software Is No Different Than Any Other Blackberry Device.

►step 1 Access The Blackberry Upgrade Page For T-mobile. Under The Heading "before You Get Started" Reads The Statement, "are You A Former Suncom Customer?" Click On The hyperlink To The Right Of That Statement Labeled, "click Here For A List Of Available Updates." This Process Redirects You To The List Of Downloads For Suncom Customers.
►step 2 Select The blackberry 8310 From The Drop-down List And Click On The "download" Hyperlink. Save The File To The Computer's Desktop.
►step 3 Double-click On The File To Open It And Install It In The Background Of The Computer.
►step 4 Plug The blackberry 8310 Into The Computer With The usb Cable Supplied To You By Suncom. If You Do Not Have That Usb Cable, Any Standard mini Usb Cable Works.
